Everything you need to know about getting to Wembley Stadium
Getting There
Wembley Stadium is primarily a public transport destination, and visitors are strongly encouraged to avoid driving due to limited parking and event-day road closures. You can reach the stadium via the London Underground, London Overground, or national rail services, all of which provide direct links to central London. National Express also operates dedicated coach services for major events.
Public Transport
The stadium is served by three main stations: Wembley Park, which is a five-minute walk away via the Metropolitan and Jubilee lines, and Wembley Stadium station, which is a five-minute walk served by Chiltern Railways. Wembley Central is also available, located about a fifteen-minute walk away and served by the Bakerloo line and London Overground services.
Parking
Official stadium parking is extremely limited and must be booked well in advance through the official Wembley parking portal to guarantee a space. Blue Badge parking is available for disabled visitors but also requires pre-booking. Be aware that local road closures are typically enforced around the stadium approximately four hours before an event begins.
Nearby Airports
London Heathrow is the closest major international airport, located approximately 15 to 20 miles away, and is accessible via public transport or taxi. Other London airports, including Gatwick, Stansted, and Luton, are further afield but offer rail connections into central London where you can transfer to the Underground or national rail lines.
