Tottenham Hotspur Stadium

Standing on the site of the club's historic White Hart Lane home, the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium represents a fusion of tradition and modern engineering. For 118 years, the Lane served as the soul of North London, but the club's ambitions necessitated a venue capable of hosting elite global events. The Northumberland Development Project saw the old ground dismantled to make way for a new, state-of-the-art facility. When the stadium opened in April 2019, it redefined the architectural possibilities of a sporting home, boasting a capacity of 62,850 and becoming the largest club stadium in London. Designed by the firm Populous, the venue was built to maximize the supporter experience, bringing fans closer to the pitch than at any comparable stadium in the United Kingdom. Architecturally, the venue is defined by its South Stand, a towering, single-tier structure that seats 17,500 spectators. This stand is the largest of its kind in the UK and was designed to create an intense atmosphere. Beneath the surface lies a significant engineering marvel: the world's first fully retractable, dividing grass pitch. This system allows the stadium to transition seamlessly from a Premier League football ground to a purpose-built arena for NFL London Games, concerts, and other major events. Beyond football, the stadium has become a cultural and economic cornerstone for the N17 district. By hosting the NFL London Series, heavyweight boxing, and international music acts, the venue operates as a year-round destination. It features modern amenities such as the Dare Skywalk, a microbrewery, and extensive hospitality facilities. The stadium honors the club's heritage with a golden cockerel perched atop the South Stand, serving as a modern link to the iconic symbol that defined the club's history at White Hart Lane.
