King Power Stadium

The King Power Stadium is the home of Championship club Leicester City, situated in the heart of the City, and across the road from the former site of the club at Filbert Street. Originally called the Walkers Stadium as part of their sponsorship deal with Leicester-based crisp manufacturer, Walkers Crisps, it was opened in 2002 to provide a modern day stadium for the aspiring East Midlands side. Whilst it predominantly hosts Leicester City, it has also hosted other events including England International Matches, other International Matches, Rugby World Cup and music concerts.
